#1-Getting Started

Alfaretta Ida Abbott married my great grandfather, Wilber Chester LaRue in Wilton, Monroe County, Wisconsin and this is where the Abbott line and its collateral lines meet my LaRue line. Since any of my lines would be way to extensive to blog about by themselves I have broken them up. My LaRue line can be read on my blog at http://MyLarueLinks.blogspot.com.

Since I wish to protect the privacy of those who are still living, I will not include information on them in my blogs and any photos that may be shared will not name them in the photos, and will not be of adults, generally they will be photos of children. If you wish to see what other lines I am blogging about, you can go to my general blog titled Geneagunkie (my blog name) at http://geneagunkie.blogspot.com and see what else I may develop.

I am not a creative writer nor an author. And I know that many of you readers will not be genealogists, so I will dispense with pedigree forms, source citations and other research conventions to share my family past in story format. Read along, and if you wish to contact me for any further clarification, you can find me at dervasti14@gmail.com.

So the next post will begin with where the Abbot line met the LaRue line, that of Alfretta Ida Abbott. Enjoy.
